Beautiful!

I meant to post this while ago but forgot. I was "cleaning" up my camera and found it. The picture doesn't do it justice. The trees had ice on them so they almost shimmered. And that's white fog in the picture. I've never seen fog quite like that. It's so pretty, but I am so ready for spring! I heard birds chirping today. That's a start!

I can't believe it!

Our pond has a layer of ice on it! Already! I'm sure it will melt when the sun comes out later, but this is ridiculous! I don't mind the cold, but I am not ready for it yet. It's too early. I don't remember having a fall. My prediction: it is going to be a very long and very hard winter.
