Barbie, Snow Slide, Jedi, Egypt

What do all these have in common? These are all exhibits that are currently at our Children's Museum. I thought the Barbie exhitibit was over in February. It is. February 2011. The Snow Slide is part of the Holly Jolly Days. The only thing we missed was Santa. We walked through the Egypt exhibit before but didn't see everything. We have seen the Star Wars stuff before but there was something new this time.

They had some costumes from Star Wars that the kids could dress up in. This is C's Jedi face. Too cute! Here is our woman preacher. Just kidding.
In the store, they had the word Barbie spelled out with--Barbies. Kinda cute.

C and K taking a ride down the Nile on a crocodile. Isn't it huge!

C went ice fishing. And caught a fish! (Like his sports glasses? His regular glasses broke the week before-courtesy of his sister, so he had to wear these. Poor guy.)

K thought she was a princess up in her high tower, waving to her loyal subjects. She is something else.

C really liked the G.I. Joe display. He was excited because he actually has some of the ones on display.

I am not a shoes person, but these were on display in the Barbie exhibit. I think they are beautiful! So shiny! But I probably would never wear them. But aren't they so pretty!

Here the kids are pretending to be the DJs for the BArbie fashion show that is happening ont he pink (of course) runway.

And here is my fashion-esta. She was working the stage.
They had so many Barbies on display, some I recognized. It was fun to see all the different ones.

One Barbie with another. Here is K on the snow slide. I didn't go down it but it looked pretty fast.

C on the slide. I think they went down it 3 or 4 times.

I fianlly finished this post! I have been trying to finish for a very long time! I think I set it to post 3 times and had to delete it because it posted before I finished it.
We had such a good time that day. The kids were so good. And it's so much easier for me to take them by myself. They are at a great age. how fun!
