And it came to pass in those days...........
I have no idea how to rotate video! So sorry! You might have to turn your head.
Anyways. I haven't had much time to blog and I am so far behind! I thought I'd give you one quick blog. This is from Christmas day which will get it's own post later. But I thought this deserved one all its own. And it won't take me long--so then I can say "I blogged!"
Grandma and Papa asked C to read the Christmas story this year. I was a little worried that he would stumble on some of the hard words. (I meant to have him practice but in all the business-kept forgetting.) (He did practice one time with Unca right before) I was so proud of how good he did! That's my boy!
So enjoy the best reading of the Christmas story ever (until next year anyways).

Our Christmas
I took a picture of C with his "stuff" and one of K with her "stuff" Alas. It is on my other camera and I am not going to get it tonight. You will have to turst me: they made out well.
C got 2 games for his DS and K got a new one for her "Kindle" They aren't allowed to play them until our trip later this week. So they did other stuff. C worked on Legos and K painted.
Daddy was allowed to play his new game. And we all got a chance to play it. He got Band Hero. What a fun game! Check future posts for pictures and videos.

Why isn't this illegal?
My sister and her husband sent us a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake for Christmas this year. A Godiva chocolate cheesecake. What a neat idea! Something different. And it is YUMMY!
Before we ate it, we made the mistake of looking at the nutrition info on the side. Big mistake. Take a look at this!
When I saw how many grams of fat were in once slice, I told Daddy he had to take a picture of it. In my words, "that's blog-worthy." Seriously?!?!?! 69 grams of fat in once slice!!!!!! Why isn't that illegal? For as much as they focus on how fat Americans are, why do they (government?) allow companies to make foods like this!
Rest assured. If you notice, the entire cheesecake is 6 serving slices. We didn't even eat one slice between the 4 of us. I thought it was very good. Daddy and C aren't big chocolate people, so they thought it was so-so. K didn't like the texture, but that's typical for her.
Thank you sissy for the yummy cheesecake! Remind me to do a few extra crunches next week.

Merry Christmas!
Not sure what this was but I like how Daddy took the picture.
This is C taking a picture of---something.
K got this for Daddy at the Cubbies store. It's a screwdriver on both ends. Very small and magnetic. Daddy used it at least twice already today!
K wanted a Barbie doll. And this is Belle! What I like is that it is made more for her age. The shoes don't come off and neither do the clothes. The tutu does. No little parts for her to loose.
K was very love-y today. I'll take it when I can. She's usually not like that.
Daddy and I both got each other this game. Scrabble Slam. He and I actually played it tonight after the kids went to bed. It's really fun. He's really good at it.
Look at all those presents! Since we didn't go anywhere, all presents from everyone got sent to us. We had a lot. It took us quite awhile to open them all.
