Misc. K "stuff"

And here is K's randomness.
Cracks me up. Princess crown, dress, shoes. Woobie and thumb in the mouth. Nice.
Sharing thumbs.
Princess? Spiderwoman? Not sure.

Such a cute scary face.

K is very jealous of her woobie. She doesn't want anyone to get it "hot." She only likes "cold woobies."

'Memeber C's boo boo? When we went to get his stiches out, both of the kids got a sheet of stickers. K wanted to have some sympathy for C and the bandaids on his face. But she wasn't counting on them hurting when she went to take them off. Made me laugh. She didn't think it was so funny.
K loves to "help" Daddy mow grass. I think she thinks she's actually mowing.

She always uses these backwards. Not sure what she sees. But she's usually looking for butterflies.

Misc. C "stuff"

In going through my pictures, I've come across so many "misc." pictures. I decided to dedicated 2 posts to "randomness." One for C and one for K.

Remember that bucket of Legos? and the monster C made? Here is his latest creation. Pretty good.
Not sure what he was thinking, but it will be a good black mail picture later in life.Every time I cut C's hair, he wants a mowhawk. So I cut it and after the picture, fixed it to "normal."

Posing. Nice freak boy.
All his bike "gear." Now he doesn't even wear it.

The First Day of School 2010

...........was way back on August 4th. I am way behind.

C is in 2nd grade. Hard to believe. He is doing A Beka's DVD program again this year. His teacher is Mrs. Chappell. The order is a little different than last year and he actually has spelling tests this year. So far he is doing really well (good?). The lowest grade he has gotten on any test--so far-- is a 94%. The beginning of the year is A LOT of review. I think they are slowly coming out of that. I think he will really enjoy school more when they start science or history. He enjoys that kid of stuff.

K started in K4 this year. Her teacher is Mrs. Wasser. Love her! K is having some issues with school, but I'm not totally surprised. What has surprised me is how much better she does when I teach her instead of her watching school. There are some days that I ended up teaching her and she doesn't watch that particular subject at all. Daddy has kidingly said "You actually have to homeschool this year, huh?" I don't totally mind; it's just been a mental adjustment for me. I wasn't expecting to do so much hands on. But, as everyone has reminded me "she's different than C and learns different." Another thing that surprises me is the fact that she really likes numbers. She loves to count! I'm hoping that continues on into elementary and forever.

PS: For those of you that think we started school early---we haven't had a full 5 day week yet. Sad? No, that's the benefits of homeschooling!

Such a deal I"ve got for you!

I am on a coupon high! I have found some great deals lately, mostly thanks due to some "money saving blogs" that I follow. In some of these blogs, they always show what they bought and then tell the SMALL AMOUNT of money that they spend on it. I've always thought it was neat to see and wished I could do that. Well, here's mine.

This first "pat on my back" happened THE DAY I LOST MY INTERNET.
For everything in this picture I spent $6.22 (between 2 stores). Those breathe right strips are worth that much alone! (The book is present for EJ for Christmas. Shhh! don't tell her.) I also got a free coffee from McD's that day with a coupon that I had. Later that night, we went to Target and I got a $3 Christmas present for C, and spent $10.28 at another store for 4 partial Christmas presents/birthday presents for family (thus the reason I can't show you pictures of that).

This is what I got today. I spent $9.11. I paid $0.31 for all those SoBe drinks. I paid $1 for both Cap'n Crunch. And at Target I spent $7.80. The wipes were $1.08 apiece!

I'm so excited! I have to say thanks to all the blogs I read (especially this one). It pays to use coupons!

I'm back!

Finally!
I was without Internet for a week. A WHOLE ENTIRE WEEK! (Have I ever told you that I hate AT&T?) And then once I got it, I couldn't get it all set up right. I was without my printer for an extra 3 days. I NEED MY PRINTER!

I am finally all set up and everything seems to be working properly. That was a long 10 days.

I had grand plans to blog last weekend. Ya know--enjoy the cooler weather, watch college football and blog. Didn't happen. Thus you were stuck with K's cute new hair do.

Blogs are coming. Soon. Sometime. Hopefully tomorrow. Hopefully. Stay tuned. Meantime I'll leave you with some new pictures to enjoy.
