Weber Grill

After we were done at the Children's Museum on Friday, we went out to eat at Weber Grill. It is a restaurant associated with the company that makes THE Weber Grills. Or as their website says "ENJOY DELICIOUS BURGERS, BARBECUE, STEAKS, SEAFOOD AND MORE GRILLED OVER CHARCOAL ON AUTHENTIC WEBER KETTLES" There are only 4 of these restaurants in the US. Daddy had been there once before and wanted to take us--so he could go back. I'm hooked! What a neat place to eat! And the food was AWESOME! It was a little on the expensive side, but it was worth it--and probably a once-in-a-lifetime chance for the kids.

Obviously most of their menu is stuff you can make on the grill, but the kids ordered pizza and it was fresh made. Actually the kids meals are well worth it, if your kids don't eat LESS than a bird (like mine). For $6 they got pizza, tator tots, broccoli covered in cheese, fruit, and a nice sized ice cream in a waffle bowl. And their drink was included.

Daddy got smoked sausage and brisket and I got brisket and meatloaf. Their meatloaf is very good. I would definitely go back, just maybe minus the kids next time. At least until they make it worth it to buy a kids meal.

For being a "grilling restaurant" it was very classy inside. They did have many different grills on display and this big grill on the outside of the restaurant. It was very good and I highly recommend it!

What's for dinner?

Wanna know what we had for dinner last night? Here's a clue:

It was so warm out yesterday (60 degrees!), that we grilled out for dinner. We had hamburgers. That is the only way to eat hamburgers at home. Our own version of cowboy burgers: bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, and onion rings. YUMO!

I actually had to make a special run to Wal-Mart for charcoal. I also got 2 bags of chicken breasts and had Daddy grill those too. I'll freeze them and use them over the next few weeks.
