For Valentine's Day, Daddy brought a single red rose home for me. K loved it as much as I did. She's a girl at heart. She was sad when we had to throw it away. She kept saying she wanted Daddy to bring her a flower home. So I made sure to pass the message on to Daddy. And also reminded him that it should probably be purple--K's favorite color.
So Friday night Daddy had to stop at the store to get buns for meatball subs. While he was there, he picked up--not just one--but 9 tulips for K girl. And they are a really pretty purple. She was so excited! She helped me cut them and put them in a vase. Every time she sees them, she wants to be held up to smell them. They smell really good.

Here you can kinda see how pretty they are, now that they have opened up (I like how she was posing--like I said, a girl at heart). She is so proud of those flowers. She's going to be devastated when we have to get rid of them. Oh well. What a sweet Daddy she has to bring her home flowers.
