Easter Egg Hunt

We have never done an Easter egg hunt with the kids. For some reason, this year I wanted to do one. Daddy and I filled the eggs one night last week: candy (Reese's Eggs), mints, money, and a cheap toy. We actually did the hunt Saturday afternoon; it was just easier due to church the next day. I went out to the backyard and hid the eggs while the kids ate lunch. Boy they ate fast! It was a little chilly, but they had fun running around looking for the eggs. K was to find the purple and pink eggs and C was to find the blue and yellow ones. After all 22 were found, we came back inside and they looked in each one. The cheap toy that C got was a small (very cheap) Connect Four. He loves that game! He has asked to play a zillion times since! Daddy wants me to just go get the real game. I think they had fun. I know I did. Hopefully we can keep up the tradition next year.

Nice tradition! Looks like K hit the jack pot. I think I will come out next year and look for the goodies too! BTW, I liked the Easter outfits. The hot pink was very cool! You have cute "little ones" & a handsome husband too!
