The Indy 500
The Indy 500 race was this past Sunday. It is a huge deal around here. There is something going on at the track almost every day during May. This past Friday was Carb day. There was a IndyLites race, practice, and a pit crew competition. Daddy's department went to the track for the day and called it "team building." It was a nice way for Daddy to start his long weekend.

racing is big here, too. especially with lowe's motor speedway nearby. i could care less, but we try to always keep up with when the races are so we don't try to go to the Big City then. we forgot last weekend and headed to Big City on Friday night. i've never seen so many rv's, coolers, and grills in the fields! fortunately, traffic wasn't too bad!
